Tossing and Turning
I’ve been experiencing this amazing thing and it’s not only helping me get to sleep at night, it’s also an awesome reminder of the power of “I am.””
Until recently, when I would go to bed I would toss and turn and think and think and think and . . . you get the picture. And eventually I’d say to myself, “I really need to let myself go to sleep” or “Time to go to sleep.” Awhile after that, I would.
Manifestation Hack – “I Am . . .”
I don’t know where the idea came from—the mystery and magic of ideas is a delight unto itself—but I tried saying to myself, “I’m asleep.” Bam! It worked! Ok, sometimes I have to say it four or five times, but literally within about a minute I’m off to zzz-land.
The first time, after realizing it had worked when I awoke the next morning, I thought it might be a fluke. I tried it again and it worked again. It’s been working consistently ever since.
This amazes me. It also makes me realize with more clarity that this is like a manifestation hack. Obviously, at the moment I say to myself that I am asleep, I’m not yet. But just saying it lets me know that I will be soon.
I recall someone, perhaps it was Jack Canfield or Michelle Masters, describe how when we buy a ticket for a trip we know it’s going to happen even though it hasn’t happened quite yet. We live with that certainty—as much certainty as we can in these crazy times, but you get the idea. In our minds we see it happening. We don’t buy a ticket and then wish we could go. We’re going!
